It is made from special stained glass - CATHEDRAL GLASS which is single color transparent glass that transmits light in glowing colors and OPALESCENT GLASS which is semi-transparent with a swirled and streaked effect that diffuses light to create a luminous effect.
 
Each of the 17 glass pieces has been carefully cut by hand and then joined together using Tiffany copper-foiling and soldering technique. This piece also includes 2 shimmering ROUNDELS which create a magical effect of their own.
